Our Mission

Virginia Green Grocer is dedicated to providing fresh produce and hot meals to low-income families in the Roanoke Valley area through green and sustainable efforts.

 

Virginia Green Grocer has created our Urban Gardener program to assist us in this mission. We additionally utilize our greenhouses and gardens to provide fresh produce to our grocery store. As our community grows, we hope to expand to multiple locations across Virginia to have a greater impact on those communities that would otherwise be overlooked.
